This is my personal homepage, and it serves the purpose of directing people to my other pages.
I am first of all a minister of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and all of the rest of the activities in my life are influenced by this fact and my commitment to Him who loves me best. I'm not overtly evangelistic, but I am committed to Christ. I have served in the role of associate pastor for the past 20 years at Anchorage City Church.
I am also a part time wedding photographer, and have a very real passion for it. it's fast paced, full of pressures that I thrive under, and I like dealing with the people. If interested, check out: weddings.jimstrutz.com.
I have moved almost exclusively to digital cameras, and like the change.
Another passion is river rafting. I started whitewater rafting for the rush of it all. Recently I have been doing more river tripping as opposed to whitewater thrills. This probably has to do with all too vivid memories of recent swims.
